Pizzicotto was packed on a Sunday night so is clearly popular with locals and I can see why. The smell of freshly baked woodfire pizza waft out into the street catching your attention before you even step through the door. The menu features a curated list of classic Italian fare made authentically. We tried the Classics - carbonara, margherita pizza, tiramisu, and panna cotta. Servings were generous and all of the food was delicious and very well made. Sergio and the team were super welcoming and clearly had good rapport with their regulars. The atmosphere was very inviting and the food impressive. Bookings are recommended as it’s a small space and very popular. This is Italian food at its best and well worth a visit even if you’re not a local. We look forward to returning to try more of the menu in future.
Tonight I randomly came across this Italian restaurant while scrolling on Instagram — one of their pasta videos caught my eye and looked too delicious to ignore! So I decided to give it a try. When we arrived, the whole street was quiet and most shops were closed, but there was this warm, happy buzz coming from one spot — and that’s how we found this beautiful Italian restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the owner — such a kind and professional gentleman — greeted us with a big smile and made us feel so welcome. We ordered three different entrées to share, and every single one of them was incredibly tasty. Then came our mains — one pasta and one pizza — both absolutely perfect! The pasta was creamy and rich, and the pizza was thin, crispy, and full of flavor. 🍕 The drinks were amazing, too — super refreshing — and of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert. We tried two, and both were the perfect sweet ending to our night. 🍮 What made the experience even better was the vibe — friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and that real Italian energy that makes you feel like you’re in Rome. 🇮🇹 💫 If you’re looking for an authentic Italian restaurant in Melbourne, this place is a must! Just come hungry, because you’ll want to try everything on the menu.
Outstanding italian resturant with a true locals vibe to it. Went here for the first time last night and could not have been happier. The staff went above and beyond to make you feel at home, and the food was outstanding. Will be back!
Wow! One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in Melbourne! The flavours honestly took me straight back to Italy so fresh, authentic, and full of flavour. Everything was top quality, from the dough to the toppings. We were greeted with a big smile from Sergio as soon as we walked in, which made us feel right at home. Service was spot on, and our waiter was fantastic. If you’re after a true Italian pizza experience, this is the place to go!

So much to unpack here. The food, was absolutely incredible. Delicious. The service, was spot on. We had three very busy tables and the staff did not miss a beat. Location is excellent with lots of parking. I had the barramundi. I would highly recommend to get this. Pasta was amazing. Salad was delicious. Squid was amazing. Pizza was amazing.
